Foi de uma conversa de amigos no ano de 1982, que nasceu o BANDEIRA RASGADA em São Caetano do Sul.
Eduardo Miranda (Guitarra), Nelson Sanchez (Voz), Jorge Sanchez (baixo) e Wladimir Augusto(bateria)trilhavam o caminho do hard rock.
Mais tarde, com a introdução de teclados(Nelson) e a entrada de Henrique Valsésia(voz e sax), passaram a compor arranjos mais elaborados, mudando o nome da banda para ÚLTIMA GERAÇÃO.
Passado algum tempo e alguns shows, novo nome RENASCENÇA.

Wejah biography
The story of Wejah dates back to 1982 when the band was founded by Eduardo Miranda (guitar), Nelson Sanchez (vocals), Jorge Sanchez (bass) and Vladimir Augusto (drums), originally under the name Bandeira Rasgada. This incarnation of the band dealt with mostly strait forward hard rock music until the band came to the realization that they wanted to do something a little more complex.
